I have often pondered why our craft as glass artists does not receive much recognition. Whether it's through billboards, magazine articles, or advertising on posters and flyers, there seems to be very little mention of glass art. The general public only seems to come across it when they stumble upon a storefront, which is often beyond our financial means, at a farmer's market or craft show. Sometimes, we might catch a glimpse of it through online advertisements. What is missing? Maybe our own line of stained glass clothing.
To be honest, our craft does not always get the recognition it deserves. Therefore we must go out of our way to showcase our work and get people to stop, appreciate, and purchase our products. But when they do stop and look, we often get wonderful feedback like "I just love this!", "Can you make me one just like this but in a different shade?" or “I’ve never seen anything like this.”
